Agreement to Terms

Services We Provide

MBD Macon-Bibb Deck Builder offers professional deck construction, repair, and maintenance services. We work with you to design and build outdoor spaces that fit your needs. All services are provided based on our written estimates and your approval before we start work.

Quotes and Pricing

We provide free quotes for all projects. Our quotes are good for 30 days from the date we give them to you. Prices may change if material costs go up or if you change the scope of your project. We'll always let you know about price changes before moving forward with any work.

Payment Terms

We typically require a deposit to start your project and final payment when the work is complete. Payment schedules for larger projects will be outlined in your contract. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. Late payments may result in project delays or additional fees.

Scheduling and Delays

We do our best to start and finish your project on time. However, weather, material delivery delays, or other circumstances beyond our control may affect our schedule. We'll keep you informed about any delays and work to minimize disruptions to your timeline.

Your Responsibilities

You're responsible for providing clear access to the work area and ensuring that pets and children stay away from the construction site for safety reasons. You'll also need to obtain any necessary permits or homeowner association approvals before we start work, unless we've agreed to handle that for you.

Warranties and Guarantees

We stand behind our work. Our workmanship warranty covers the quality of our installation for a period specified in your contract. Material warranties are provided by the manufacturers and vary by product. We'll help you understand what's covered and for how long.

Changes to Your Project

If you want to make changes after we've started work, just let us know. We'll provide a revised estimate for any additional work or materials needed. Changes may affect your project timeline and final cost.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your project, please let us know as soon as possible. Cancellation fees may apply depending on how far along we are in the process. Any materials already purchased for your specific project will need to be paid for.

Limitation of Liability

We carry appropriate insurance for our work. However, we're not responsible for damage to underground utilities that aren't properly marked, pre-existing property damage, or issues that arise from your failure to maintain the deck according to manufacturer recommendations.

Dispute Resolution

If you have concerns about our work, please contact us right away. We want to make things right. Most issues can be resolved through friendly conversation. If we can't reach an agreement, disputes will be handled according to Georgia state law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post any changes on this page with a new date. Your continued use of our services after changes means you accept the new terms.
